Watermelon Bust 2008

First off, what is Watermelon Bust? Watermelon Bust is a week long series of events sponsored by the brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha, the women of the participating sororities, and local businesses. The events of this week are coordinated in an effort to raise food and money for Lambda Chi Alpha’s national philanthropy the North American Food Drive. Since 1993, Lambda Chi Alpha has been coordinating this international philanthropy project that has now raised more than 28 million pounds of food for the needy across North America. Hello fellow Greeks and members of the community! My name is Alex Montgomery and I will be coordinating Watermelon Bust 2008. This year's Watermelon Bust at Western Carolina University promises to be the best one yet, and we are very proud to bring it to you. The brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha are certainly excited and hope the ladies of the participating sororities are ready for the Bust of a lifetime!
