Chartering Banquet Success! After a very successful return to the campus of WCU the brothers of the Beta-Zeta Colony received their charter on Christopher Andrew Rollins Justin McCann Joe Hampton Taylor Callicutt Berl Childers Caleb D. Hogsed Not only is this the largest class to go through since we first came back, this is one of the largest number of people recruited on campus. This is good news as this pushes our colony over the average number of brothers on this campus and fully qualifies us for chartering. In related news, the chartering packet was completed by High Alpha Samuel Howard and High Beta Justin Conley and is in the process of being sent to International Headquarters to be viewed by the Grand High Zeta. This was a long and tedious process but with the help of the active members and some of the associates it was finished. Mark Your Calendar's High Epsilon : Justin Conley : cheerchop@gmail.com NEWS FROM THE FRONT Sorority Kidnap success. On March 14th, the brothers and associates of Lambda Chi rolled down to the Greek Village and participated in Sorority Kidnap. There was a decent turnout and a lot of food was raised as ransom for their captured representatives. With recruitment at an all time low on WCU's campus it was tough to tell how recruitment would go for the Beta-Zeta colony. The Cullowhee Crud and the Flu struck campus during IFC rush week limiting the participation. Though the odds were stacked against the colony it is with great pride that I announce the largest AM class since re-colonization. Dates to Remember On February 28th the brother's of Lambda Chi Alpha successfully sponsored the last home basketball game. This is a great PR tool and will help spread the word that Lambda Chi Alpha is back and the predominate organization at WCU. On March 14th the return of Sorority Kidnap will make its return to the campus of WCU. On May 1st the brother's would like to announce their sponsorship of the Billy Currington concert in the Ramsey Center. With the help of Last Minute Productions and Power 90.5 country music star Billy Currington will perform at WCU. For ticket information feel free to contact us. Chartering Banquet, as soon as we are approved to have the banquet the date will be set and invitations will be sent out. For more information feel free to contact High Rho Josh Hutchison. On a cold December night the new era sent four associates through the beautiful exemplification that is our Ritual. Joseph Shannon-Kellerman, Simon Owens, Jacob McMinn, and Kevin Powell made the final step and became brothers exactly one year after Lambda Chi Alpha made its return to WCU.
This year WCU's homecoming was filled with successful accomplishments for the brothers of the Beta-Zeta Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha. After being grouped with the ladies of Alpha Gamma Delta and the brothers of Kappa Sigma; the brothers of Lambda Chi won their first homecoming since their return to WCU a year ago. Another great accomplishment rested on the shoulders of Brother Kevin Vasquez who was the recipient of WCU’s outstanding alumni award. Kevin received this honor at half time of the game, where “AlaBam” echoed from the student section.
